DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT AND CATHERINE BELL GUEST STAR “False Flag” – Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL COOL J) work with Navy Captain Harmon “Harm” Rabb, Jr. (David James Elliott) to locate a group of ISIS sympathizers aboard the USS Allegiance. Also, Hetty (Linda Hunt) enlists her friend Navy Lieutenant Colonel Sarah “Mac” Mackenzie (Catherine Bell), to help obtain information from a Russian diplomat.

The wait is finally over! CBS has announced today that “NCIS: Los Angeles” has been officially renewed for Season 11! 😀

CBS announced today that it has renewed NCIS: NEW ORLEANS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES for the 2019-2020 season. The pickups follow the recent renewal of the original NCIS, also for next season.

“Both shows have been key pillars to the CBS schedule for several years,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “They offer heroic stories, big stars and have attracted a passionate, loyal fan base. We’re excited to have Chris, LL, Scott and these terrific casts back to bring more terrific NCIS stories to viewers in the U.S. and around the world.”

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, starring Scott Bakula, is currently in its fifth season and is averaging almost 11 million viewers each week, while winning its time slot. NCIS: LOS ANGELES, currently in its 10th season and starring Chris O’Donnell and LL COOL J, is also among the most-watched dramas on broadcast television and is Sunday’s top scripted series with an average of 10.1 million viewers.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS are the latest series pickups for CBS. The Network has also renewed YOUNG SHELDON, MOM, CRIMINAL MINDS, NCIS, BLUE BLOODS and the freshman hits FBI, GOD FRIENDED ME, THE NEIGHBORHOOD and MAGNUM P.I. for next season.

Great news! Daniela was announced yesterday as one of this year’s Artemis Women in Action Film Festival honorees!

She will be awarded the “Artemis Action Warrior” award.
Daniela is scheduled to attend the event, but her presence is subject to change.

Daniela Ruah tem um novo projecto televisivo! A actriz portuguesa vai liderar o elenco da nova mini-série da RTP, “A Espia”, uma série de ficção histórica de oito episódios, passada na Península Ibérica durante a 2ª Guerra Mundial. As filmagens irão decorrer entre Maio e Julho deste ano.

Daniela Ruah has a new tv project! The Portuguese actress will star on RTP’s new mini-series, “Twenty-Four Land”, a series of eight-episode historical fiction, set in the Iberian Peninsula during World War II. Filming will take place between May and July this year.

A ESPIA / TWENTY FOUR LAND

A Espia (Twenty-Four Land, em inglês) vai ser apresentada hoje no Drama Producers’ Pitch. O evento decorre em Cannes e está inserido no Cannes Drama Creative Forum. Trata-se da primeira vez que uma série portuguesa é escolhida para participar.

A produção nacional passa-se na Península Ibérica, durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial. A ficção histórica fala sobre um país neutro que vai, cidadão a cidadão, escolhendo o seu lado no conflito. Apesar de ainda não estar a ser filmada, A Espia vai ser constituída por oito episódios e um elenco de luxo: Daniela Ruah e Maria João Bastos são nomes já confirmados. A rodagem começa entre maio e julho de 2019.

A série tem realização de Jorge Paixão da Costa, conhecido, mais recentemente, pelo filme Soldado Milhões. Produzida pela Ukbar Filmes em conjunto com a RTP, A Espia foi escolhida entre 376 projetos submetidos por 41 países. Ao participar no Drama Producers’ Pitch, a produção tem a oportunidade de ganhar financiamento, ajuda na produção e distribuição internacional.
